13 1/8" x 15 3/8" Serigraph Sepiatone. Signed and Numbered limited edition of 100

The dictionary describes a peccary as a south american pig. Doubtless long ago the peccary also roamed much farther north to the Southern Colorado areas. This little animal painting, a pictograph, is painted on the canyon wall. Paint used is reddish brown and it is thought by some to be a mixture of blood and grease. The color penetrated the rock surface deep enough to be plainly visible today and will doubtless still be visible for years in the future.

This pictograph is estimated to be from the era of 225 BC to 450 BC.
